To Whom It May Concern
This is to certify that a special meeting of the members of: United Workers for the Blind of
Colorado a Colorado corporation, was held at: Elitch’s Gardens, Denver, Colo on the: 2 day of
August, A.D. 1937 such meeting having been called by the members representing at least ten per
cent (10%) of the entire membership of the company outstanding. Notice of such meeting, as
provided by law, was published at least once not more than thirty days and at least ten days prior
to the date fixed for said meeting in a newspaper printed at: Denver, State of Colorado, and
notice of said meeting was deliver personally or mailed to each member thirty (30) days prior to
the date of such meeting, there being represented at such meeting: 350 members of said company
out of a total of: 400 members outstanding.
At said meeting a resolution was passed to extend the corporate existence of this said
corporation: perpetually, from and after the date of the expiration of its corporate life, the
resolution receiving a MAJORITY vote of all the members of the corporation. The president and
secretary were authorized to certify this resolution under the corporate seal of the company, to
file such certificate with the Secretary of State of the State of Colorado, and to file duplicate
certificate under seal of the company in the office of the Recorder of Deeds in each county or
counties wherein the company may do business in the State of Colorado, and in pursuance of
such resolution, we do hereby certify the same under the seal of the company.
